Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales helps your sales team work more efficiently and close more deals. With AI and automation, you can improve customer relationships and optimize sales processes.
KA Interiør implemented Dynamics 365 Sales to become more customer-centric and strengthen relationships with their retail consultants. The company soon discovered that the solution enabled them to manage twice as many customers with the same number of sales resources. Why? Because the knowledge KA Interiør collects about their customers is kept up to date and easily accessible for their sales team.
Dynamics 365 Sales gives KA Interiør full control of their sales pipeline, helping prioritize opportunities and streamline workflows.
The system enables KA Interiør to serve twice the customers without extra staff, thanks to better data and automation.
With customer insights and loyalty scoring, sales reps engage more personally, strengthening customer and consultant ties.
“We want to become even more customer-focused, and this is the tool that makes it possible,” says Kristian Bonde, Sales and Marketing Director at KA Interiør.
“In 2010, we began expanding into the Norwegian and Swedish markets. When you spread out your activities like that, it tends to affect sales efficiency. But today, we’re handling about twice the number of customers with the same resources — and Dynamics 365 Sales is a major reason why.”
The key? The system has made customer knowledge accessible across the entire organization.
“Dynamics 365 Sales has helped us improve our market approach by 10–20% every year. Preparing for a customer meeting takes just 15 minutes now, because the system contains all the relevant insights that sales reps used to search for manually,” says Kristian. “And at the same time, it’s brought us much closer to each individual customer.”
KA Interiør also uses the Customer Loyalty Score (CLS), a module within Dynamics 365 Sales developed in collaboration with Bredana Solutions (now 9altitudes). CLS sends automated feedback surveys to a selected group of customers who’ve been in contact with sales or support.
“Customers rate us on a scale from 1 to 10. If someone rates us between 1 and 6, we call them to understand the reason and how we can improve.”
The result? A much sharper customer focus — and the ability for leadership to act quickly when issues arise.
KA Interiør also benefits from 9altitudes’ Contact Profile module. It helps build a profile of each customer, including the ideal contact frequency. This enables a more structured use of sales reps’ time and gives the leadership team a clear overview of customer engagement.
“Every time we have meaningful contact with a customer — whether it’s a call or a meeting — a contact report is logged in the system,” Kristian explains.
“These reports are incredibly effective at giving us insights from the market. We review them weekly to assess whether actions are needed.”
The sales team at KA Interiør is focused on developing customers and growing the business both short and long term.
“We use the CRM system to capture all the sales opportunities we hear about. It acts as a pipeline — and it’s the best sales management tool we’ve used,” says Kristian.
Sales reps record potential projects, such as the construction of new residential buildings needing sliding-door wardrobes or the development of retail partnerships, including staff training. These insights allow managers to discuss, prioritize, and act on each opportunity in a structured way.
Implementing Dynamics 365 Sales has been a continuous journey that aligns closely with KA Interiør’s strategic goals. Over the years, 9altitudes has helped tailor the solution to their specific needs.
The next step: using ClickDimensions for nurturing campaigns to build even stronger relationships with the company’s 3,500 retail consultants — the true frontline sales force.
“Under the theme ‘The consultant is the hero,’ we want to strengthen relationships with our store consultants and better support them in selling our products.”
KA Interiør sees Dynamics 365 Sales as a platform that will play an increasingly central role in the company’s growth and collaboration:
“In three years, I expect Dynamics 365 Sales to be the core system for everything we do. It will be the backbone of our collaboration with dealers — providing all the insights from the market that we need to make decisions.”
Kristian praises the collaboration with 9altitudes, which is centered around workshops focused on system use and continuous development:
“9altitudes understands our business and consistently provides valuable input.”
